De Literatuurbespeler (The Literature Player), a work by Stef Van Eyck, was unveiled in 2004 and is located on the roundabout at Driehoekstraat, Boerendijk and Jaak Van Haesendonckstraat in the Antwerp district of Ekeren. The sculpture, executed in lacquered metal, refers to the nearby music academy and library. 

With De Literatuurbespeler, Van Eyck won the Beeld in de Stad competition of Ekeren. The artwork symbolizes the connection between literature and music. 

Stef Van Eyck (b. 1956) studied Jewellery and Silversmithing at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and later sculpture at the I.K.O. in Hoogstraten. He is known for his work in assemblage and recycling art, making use of repurposed materials to create both sculptures and utilitarian objects.
