Antilope (Antelope), a work by Frans Jochems from the period between 1900 and 1949, is an example of Jochems’ skill in capturing the elegance and grace of wild animals. The sculpture is made of bronze and depicts an antelope in a natural posture, emphasizing the animal’s graceful form. 

Frans Jochems (1880–1949) studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts. He created religious works, portraits, medallions and monuments, but became especially renowned for his animal sculptures.
